Where do you start?

A meaningful internet presence requires careful planning and intentional action. The difference between simply "having a website" and establishing your business online is in the details. What should your website do for your business? What content will you need to reach this goal? And what design elements will make your business more effective? Working through these exercises with dozens of companies has helped us to distill the steps down to a proven, repeatable process.

1. Intent

Our process starts with learning as much as we can about your business. What are your ideas about what a better internet presence could do for your company? From there we'll help guide you to establish a stated intent which we'll use as the basis for a content strategy and design.

2. Content

Not every business will benefit from a blog, but even the most simple website needs carefully curated content. Regardless of what your content requirements are, we'll help you layout your information architecture, craft the core content, and define a long-term content strategy. This phase of the process will help identify how and where to host your website, which will also prepare us for the design phase.

3. Design

Design doesn't have to be expensive, so you should absolutely not assume that you can't afford a great looking website. The internet is full of amazing web design resources — many of which are FREE (if you know where to look). By taking your intent, content, and personal preferences into consideration, we'll have all the information we need to present you with 2-3 designs that you'll fall in love with.
